Midland: Fueling America’s Story invites participants to explore downtown Midland through the places that helped shape our city’s role in the American story. From early general stores and hotels to service stations, courthouses, theaters, and oil offices, each stop shows how Midland helped power movement, business, community life, and opportunity. As America celebrates 250 years, this walk highlights how local history is part of the larger national story.
